Osiris Mission Control Replica #2 Played & Signed by Dead & Co

Golden Gate Park gave us an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to gather in the spirit of 60 years of the Grateful Dead, and we were honored by Oteil Burbridge’s request to play the Osiris Mission Control Replica Bass #2, masterfully crafted by renowned luthier Leo Elliott of Scarlet Fire Guitars, again after spending time with it at Sphere.  He also took the opportunity to ask all of his Dead & Company bandmates to join his signature on this incredible instrument and they obliged so Oteil’s signature is now joined by those of Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti, and Jay Lane.

Originally played and signed by Oteil Burbridge during the Dead & Company run at Sphere Vegas April 24-26, 2025 the played again the closing weekend, this bass is the marquee item of this year’s Annual Grateful Guitars Foundation Benefit Auction.  The winning bid will also receive a framed print of Oteil Burbridge at Sphere Vegas signed by photographer Jay Blakesberg.

More items such as a Jam Room Tour and rare print by photographer Bob Minkin have also been added to the auction, check out what’s new and get your bids in today.
