Grateful Guitars Foundation Partners with June Lake Jam Fest and Mono Arts Council to Inspire Mono County Students Through Music Education

The Grateful Guitars Foundation is thrilled to expand our support for Mono County’s Crescendo Music Program, which brings music education to schools with previously limited access. While the program got its start with the California Arts Council grant awarded to Mono Arts Council (MAC), that grant funding has since been eliminated from the CAC’s roster of grant programs.  June Lake Arts has made a commitment to help with the funding to continue this program and facilitate opportunities for students to have exposure to live music. “We are honored to support the MAC Crescendo Program and June Lake Jam Fest for Mono County,” shares Andy Logan, founder of Grateful Guitars. “GGF believes all children should have access to music instruction and to the arts.”

Since 2022, the Crescendo Music Program delivered by the Mono Arts Council has provided hands-on learning opportunities and music theory lessons for students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade. Their ongoing partnership with June Lake Arts and Grateful Guitars ensures that the region’s students have access to high-quality music education, nurturing creativity and a love for the arts.
