Homage Nation: A Texas-Sized Grateful Dead Tribute Benefiting Grateful Guitars Foundation
Over Memorial Day weekend in Dallas, Homage Nation turned The Kessler Theater into a four-set celebration of Grateful Dead music with an all-star cast of Texas musicians coming together in support of the Grateful Guitars Foundation. In front of a packed house of Deep Ellum Deadheads, Grateful Guitars Foundation was proud to present a $5,000 check to Jess Garland of Swan Strings, a nonprofit that brings free music lessons to underserved communities in North Texas. The energy in the room perfectly reflected the spirit of our favorite music and the joy of giving back, and came complete with a cameo by Scarlet Fire Guitar’s Leo Elliott and his Osiris Mission Control Replica #2, the marquee item in our Annual Grateful Guitars Foundation Benefit Auction.
