On March 29, 2025, the Thunderbird Music Hall in Pittsburgh was alive with music, generosity, and community as theCAUSE hosted their annual D-Jam benefit concert in support of Just Harvest. One of the evening’s most memorable moments was the gifting of a Wolf guitar—a stunning Matt Moriarty replica of Jerry Garcia’s legendary instrument from the private collection of GGF Founder Andy Logan—to Eric “Pappy” Weingrad. This gift, presented by the Grateful Guitars Foundation representative Jack Barton, honored Pappy’s dedication to keeping the music alive and his invaluable contributions to the Pittsburgh music scene.
In addition to celebrating Weingrad, the Grateful Guitars Foundation proudly presented a $5,000 donation to Fostering Music, a local non-profit dedicated to providing musical instruments and education to children in the foster care system. This contribution will help enrich young lives through the power of music, ensuring that the next generation has access to the tools they need to thrive.
The night was a testament to the power of music and community, raising funds and awareness for critical causes while celebrating the musicians who bring joy to so many. We extend our deepest gratitude to theCAUSE, Just Harvest, Fostering Music, the Thunderbird Music Hall, and everyone who made D-Jam 2025 a night to remember!
