Grateful Guitars Foundation Brings a Weekend of Music and Giving to The Hamilton Live – Washington D.C.
GGF is honored to share that we will spend two nights celebrating the “Days Between”at The Hamilton Live in Washington D.C. this August.
On Friday, August 7, GGF will present Steely Dead keyboardist Dylan Teifer with a new keyboard, continuing the foundation’s mission of putting the right gear in the hands of musicians who embody the jam-band spirit. Alongside the instrument gift, GGF will make a financial contribution of $5000 to Music for Life, the Washington, D.C.-area non-profit that has provided music education programming to at-promise youth across the region since 2006. The gift supports Music for Life’s work serving more than 800 middle and high school students annually, along with programming reaching youth across 23 Title I elementary and special education schools in the region.
The celebration continues the following night, Saturday, August 8, when GGF returns to The Hamilton Live for Better Off Dead‘s performance with special guest and GGF recipient and ambassador Bella Rayne. The 18-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist has been recognized by Guitar Player Magazine as one of the players “keeping the Dead alive.”
