A Night of Music & Giving: Grateful Guitars Foundation Joins D-Jam 2025
On March 29, 2025, music and philanthropy unite at Thunderbird Music Hall in Pittsburgh, PA, for D-Jam 2025. This year, the annual benefit concert—organized by theCAUSE and benefiting Just Harvest—will feature a special moment as Grateful Guitars Foundation gifts a stunning ‘Wolf’ guitar by luthier Matt Moriarty to Pittsburgh musician Eric “Pappy” Weingrad. Additionally, GGF will donate $5,000 to Fostering Music, a nonprofit providing music education and instruments to foster children Western Pennsylvania. This aligns with our mission of empowering musicians with the tools they need to create and inspire.
Weingrad, the longtime frontman of theCAUSE, has dedicated his career to celebrating the legacy of Jerry Garcia and the music we love. In recognition of his contributions, GGF is thrilled to present him with a Wolf replica, ensuring the sound lives on for future generations.
GGF is additionally proud to have the opportunity to share the stage with Just Harvest, a Pittsburgh-based philanthropy working to “promote a just system of food access by addressing the root causes of hunger – systemic poverty and inequity – through policy advocacy, grassroots organizing, community-based solutions, and connecting people to benefits.”
Join us for this unforgettable night of music, community, and giving back, and special thanks to sponsor Hodgin, Chapman & Associates for their generous contribution to the evening! Get your tickets now and be part of this special evening.
